EMERGENCY RELIEF CAMP
FOR WAR AFFECTED PEOPLES OF SAWAT, PAKISATAN
On 14th may 2009 Ahsas Disabled People Organization received information that thousands of IDP’s of Sawat, Malakand & Bonair have started migration towards Mansehra. Staff meeting was called considering points for helping out effectives. It was decided in the meeting of BOG that and action plain repaired in the effectives should be helped out as soon as possible.
On 15th may 2009 a meeting was call at the presidency of Molana Abdul Haq chaired by Molana Ghulam Nabi. An action plain was settled and it was accepted unanimously. 12 members AHSAS MOBILE TEAM were formed.
It was suggested that a vehicle should be haired on which banners and sound system be effects and a campaign be started in district Mansehra in order to collect necessary aid and establish a relief camp for effectives.
On 16th may 2009 all proportions were mad and on 17th may Ahsas volunteers mobile team has start its campaign on 6:30am.
Love and sympathy of people with effectives of swat etc was very appreciable.The mobile team was encouraged where ever it went for collecting at aid was in the following formed.
(1) Ready mad suits
(2) Blankets
(3) Quilts
(4) Shoes
(5) Food particles
(6) Utensils
(7) Tents
(8) Cash
Aims and objectives
To make arrangement for free residence and food of effectives.
To make possible efforts for safe and sound return of effectives.
On 18th may Ahsas lad down the function of a relief camp at kotly pain.
At the time of establishment of camp, the strength of effectives was 123 and it reached to 597 in very few days. There were woman, man, children, and aged people in the camp. This camp provided service for two month and put to end on peaceful returned of effectives. The children were also given education along with food and shelter. Two volunteers continuously remained their. They mixed up with them and provided homely environment. The assessment made at the successful and of the campaign is given below.
Total effectives = 600.
Necessary things and edibles = Rs 650000/-

AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
Aims and objectives
To Forming disabled friendly society.
To To make disabled peoples aware of their rights.
Awareness campaign is permanent plan and project of Ahsas. This campaign had started since June 2005 but it properly started functioning after the inauguration of Ahsas on 25may 2008 but due to lack of fund, it was working in very limited sphere. This campaign properly came in to action on July 2008 after district government permission. Its 1st step was taken by exposition and dilation in news paper.
2nd step was a series of different advertisement which is continued up tell now.After news paper, this process was adopted for magazines also. All those magazine and news papers which gave coverage are as under.

Beside of FM Radio and AAJ TV also gave coverage.This awareness campaign got swiftness after the wall chalking done by Ahsas in district Mansehra and district Abbottabad.
